Pierantonio Cazzulani
He is a very active chamber musician performing with diverse Italian organizations and has
collaborated with Enrico Dindo, Danilo Rossi, Luca Ranieri, Marco Rogliano, Anahi Carfi, and Paolo Bordoni among others.
He is solo violinist of the Ensemble "Salotto 800" which regularly appears with the baritone Leo Nucci in the most important Italian concert halls (Teatro Bellini in Catania, San Carlo Theatre in Naples, Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Grande di Brescia, Teatro alla Scala in Milan) and on leading international stages (France: New Lille Opera; Montecarlo: Salle Gaveau; Germany: Herculessaal in Munich, Theater Bonn; Switzerland: Radio Svizzera Italiana, Solothurn Festival; Croatia: Music Academy of Zagreb Concert Hall; Chile: Teatro Municipal de Santiago and Viña del Mar where the concert won critical acclaim as the best concert of the year).
In 1990, he undertook an extended tour of Italy and Europe with Astor Piazzolla and the Quartetto di Mantova. He is Concertmaster of the Orchestra del Bergamo Musica Festival and holds the same position with the Orchestra da Camera Milano Classica and the Ensemble "Vox Aurae". As Principal Second Violin he is a member of some of the most famous groups on the national scene such as the Mantua Chamber Orchestra, I Solisti di Pavia, the Orchestra del Festival Pianistico Internazionale di Brescia e Bergamo with which he has performed throughout Europe, in Asia, and in North and South America. Since 1987 he has been teaching Musica d'insieme for strings at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali "Gaetano Donizetti" in Bergamo.
